A three hour workshop designed to teach anyone with stage experience as an actor, backstage, or tech who are thinking about directing their first show. Experience the journey to mounting a succesful production from picking the right show, auditioning, effective rehearsal time till opening night, and beyond.

This workshop will be a mixture of discussion and some interactive exercises to enhance one’s full understanding of the directing process.

Bruce Coen has close to 55 years experience as an actor, director, producer and teacher in both stage and screen. He has been involved in the Acdiana theater scene since 2004 and has either performed or directed in almost every community theater in the area. He currently teaches Talented Theater for the Vermillion parish school system.
