Carmen’s passion for dance and movement began at the young age of three in Houston, Texas.
This Pilates Mat class is fitness focused! We will move in supine, prone, seated, and standing. My goal is to get your body and spine moving in all planes throughout the workout. You will challenge your body through different exercises and have fun all at the same time!
Clare Cook is a choreographer, teacher, collaborator and the Director of Basin Arts. She teaches many of the dance classes including modern dance, beginner ballet, cardio dance, pilates and our youth classes.
Emily Istre is a trained dancer and former Las Vegas Showgirl passionate about helping women feel strong and confident through dance
Gina Aswell has 16 years of experience teaching ballet working with a range of students from beginner to advanced across Louisiana.
Jazmyn Jones is a proud wife and mother. She earned her B.S. in Sports Medicine with a minor in Chemistry from Howard University. She is an LPSS science teacher, dance instructor at F.I.R.E. Expressions, and director of Difé II, a junior pre-professional dance company.
Julie Carson brings her years of dance training and performance across the Southeast to her contemporary jazz class each week.
Kelsey Billiot combines artistry, technique, and history for a challenging but rewarding class, remembering first, to breathe then move.
Leah Twilley has taught in the Acadiana area for over 10 years and has studied at Ohio Dance Theatre and The Ailey School in New York City.
Michelle's class focus is about having fun, nothing too complex besides heart-pumping, non-stop moving and lots of sweating!
