Whitney Willis Hebert began dancing at the age of three rolling around on the living room floor to C&C Music Factory. This love of dance led her to training with Morgan Street Dance Company in her adolescence and continued through her college years at LSU and UL. Whitney has been teaching dance since the age of sixteen with Morgan Street where she also developed an interest in choreography. Most recently Hebert has set work on the UL Dance Department in the fall of 2017 and premiered an original evening-length contemporary work entitled THIRST as Artist in Residence with the Acadiana Center for the Arts in October. Whitney surrounds herself daily in dance working as Assistant Director for Morgan Street and instructor for Basin Arts. She is ecstatic to be a member of Basin Dance Collective.
