Five choreographers present five new dance works in collaboration with chefs, featuring the work of:
Frances Barker with Jeremy Conner, Cellar Salt Company
Clare Cook with Kelsey Leger and Jamie Harson, Scratch Farm Kitchen
Gina Hanchey with Justin Girouard, The French Press
Paige Krause with Manny Augello, Bread & Circus Provisions
Sharon Leahy with Katie Platt, Feel Good Foods
Please join us for the exclusive OPENING NIGHT CELEBRATION! You’ll be welcomed with a cocktail reception before the performance and you’ll be among the first in Lafayette to experience this intimate and exciting evening of dance performance. Then, enjoy a festive post-performance party meant for moving! There will be delicious food, drinks, live music and dancing to take you well into the night as you celebrate among the choreographers, dancers, fellow foodies and friends.
STIR provides a new platform for local choreographers and professional dancers to create original work alongside a community of chefs who are also forging new pathways in the culinary arts. By purchasing a ticket to the Opening Night Celebration, you are helping to make this performance event possible and you are supporting Basin Arts and Runaway Dish, two organization’s fully committed to fostering exciting creative collaborations and to pushing the arts and cultural opportunities of Lafayette forward.
Seating is reserved and arranged by four top tables. Please select your table and seat accordingly when purchasing tickets.
Each table ticket includes a tasting experience of small bites during the performance that correspond to each dance piece.
