SCRATCH the SURFACE, the first BA Benefit!

SCRATCH the SURFACE, the first BA Benefit!

Basin Arts is thrilled to announce that we are now an official NONPROFIT 501c3 ORGANIZATION making all donations tax-deductible. Clare Cook, founder of Basin Arts, launched the entity as ‘a container for creativity’ in 2016. The art center is a place where artists of all types collaborate and classes for all levels encourage artistic expression in the community. Become a Basin Arts Supporter today and join us to celebrate this milestone by attending SCRATCH the SURFACE. Your support will help Basin Arts deepen its mission as a container for creativity as we share the arts in an exciting and fresh way.

About the Event
Scratch Farm Kitchen will cater SCRATCH the SURFACE and will design unique dishes for the night, taking inspiration from Basin Arts programming. The event will feature live music and the Designing Women of Acadiana will be partnering with Basin Arts to create an industrial-chic atmosphere in the AcA’s loading dock. Basin Arts visual artists and dance artists will be creating on-site active art installations throughout the night for totally cool, interactive art experiences. Additionally, there will be an auction including work by Basin Arts resident artists, and a large-scale painting by Dirk Guidry featured in the production of SURFACE.

Here are some of the ways your support directly impacts our organization!
