An Artist Talk with Chris Pavlik and collaborator Jed Pitre
Thursday Feb. 28th, 6:30pm at Basin Arts.
Join us for an Artist Talk with Chris Pavlik and collaborator, Jed Pitre, who created the field recordings featured as part of “That sinking feeling”.
“That sinking feeling” is an exhibition of new paintings and a centrally placed sculpture, which give viewers an experience of a visual and virtual stroll through a ghostly and dense swamp terrain.
Chris Pavlik is a Lafayette based artist whose work was recently seen in the Acadian Center for the Arts show “The last hundred years and other ghost stories.” He works at the Hilliard University Art Museum and is the organizer of the local art venue The Hallway.
