$20.00Are you bored with the same ole’ things to do for a night out in Lafayette? On February 1st, join Basin Arts in support of the United Way of Acadiana for a one-of-a-kind, JAZZ FACTORY. Think Jazz Club meets Dance Performance meets Art Party!
Expect live a live jazz music concert by UL Lafayette’s Combo One Jazz Ensemble, dance improv performances by Basin Dance Collective, live painting by Dirk Guidry and many more creative surprises all inspired by the idea of “making”. Guests will be entertained as well as invited to create throughout the night in many hands on ways!
Head to an early dinner downtown and then bring your favorite after dinner drinks along with you to Basin Arts. This event is BYOB and makes for a unique date night or friends night out in support of the amazing work done each day in our community by the United Way of Acadiana!

The unique event is part of the United Way’s Annual Bucket Brigade where over 100 community leaders, schools and organizations participate as Bucket Brigade Ambassadors. Each bucket is tasked with raising $1,000. The goal for the project is to raise $120,000 for United Way of Acadiana, where 90 cents of every dollar goes directly back into the communities it serves. The United Way works to unite people and organizations with passion, expertise and resources to create more opportunities for a better life through health, education and financial stability.
