Basin Dance Collective at the Hilliard University Art Museum
Wednesday, April 18th
6:00-8:00pm
Join Basin Dance Collective as the guest performers for the Hilliard University Art Museum’s Creative Conversation program. Clare Cook will create a movement experience that blurs the lines between observer and performer. In this program, Cook will share dances inspired by the photographic artwork of Tina Freeman and Lyda Frese. The presentation is FREE and open to all ages!
ABOUT CREATIVE CONVERSATIONS:
The museum offers free admission every Wednesday night at the museum from 5-8 PM in order to provide increased access to the arts for the people of Acadiana. During the fall and spring semesters, the museum features a weekly program, beginning at 6 PM, which are complimentary to the current season of exhibitions and provide a cross-disciplinary approach to learning. From artist talks to film screenings to concerts and more, you’re guaranteed to find a free program that interests you. The museum wishes for Wednesday nights to be a place where the community can come together and have a space to talk with artists and experts but more importantly to talk with each other.
