Join ProjectSpace Residency Artist Alex McBride during ArtWalk for the gallery exhibition opening of their in-progress project, EROSION: landscape reveals us.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION | EROSION: landscape reveals us is an alternative performance + research encapsulation that explores and investigates the connective tissue between the human body and the land body. Through this research, I provoke the viewer’s thoughts about erosion in their own lives. We are all connected to a land that is eroding. We are all resisting gravity together, pushing against the same Earth-body supporting us. The performance is proposed as an open-ended thought: what is eroding in my life?

WHAT TO EXPECT @ ARTWALK | June ArtWalk will be a continuation of the process building for the final performance on June 21st. I will be building a chain of gestures using texts from May ArtWalk and displaying visual artifacts from the process.
