Come experience Kristie Mayeaux’s – Your Intention, Please – one last time and listen to her speak about the works and her art practice. Guaranteed to be an enlightening experience. Kristie Mayeaux is a multidisciplinary artist based in Lafayette, Louisiana. Earlier in this summer of 2018, she obtained her MFA from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. Her work as explained by Artist/Writer Jenny Ditona, “takes on the natural and spiritual in forms that leave the viewer questioning their own beliefs. Through paint, poetry, sculpture, light installations and sound, Kristie takes us into the depths of the earth. She encourages us to sit, to breathe, to meditate, to listen.”
“Your Intention, Please” is a fully immersive installation featuring projection, sculpture, paintings and sound.
