Self Portrait Painting Workshop
Saturday February 29th from 10am – 4pm Lunch 12-1pm

During this workshop, you will be guided by Ash Berard. We will dive into learning about accuracy, distortion, and abstraction. This class is about figuring out how you wish to portray yourself, and beginning to execute that, given the basic tools in order for you to have your own artistic say in the outcome of the workshop! This class is all about loosening up and having fun! Making accidents and unflattering art sometimes is some of the most liberating things one can do to not take life so seriously. So join us during this time, where there will be music and given time to break for lunch. We will be working in front of a mirror, so come prepared to draw from life! The class will begin doing a few quick loose sketches/studies of our faces with acrylic paint, and then we will begin working on our canvas, and will be given time for making mistakes and continuing to layer and work on top,. And remember! This is fun!
