4 Week Acrylic Painting Class

This is a 4 week acrylic painting class is for those who love doodling in paint or artists who gravitate towards the abstract realm in artworks. Students will be introduced to various techniques and methods of creating abstract works in acrylic on canvas. We will look at certain art historical examples as guidance in our process of discovery as well as take cues from other visual arenas. Instruction will be given on canvas design, color choice, the mixing of paint and other painterly skills. Previous experience in acrylics and/or drawing is not required.
