THE DETAILS
MENU
A sit down, prixe fixe, mulit-course dinner prepared by 5 chefs.
TIME
Cocktails and pass around food begin at 7pm. Location to be announced.
DRINKS
We encourage you to bring your own wine or champagne or beer or whatever you heart desires for dinner service. We will have plenty of glasses, water, and ice on hand. And if you want to bring more for sharing, bravo! That’s what these dinners are all about.
LOCATION
The specific location of the dinner will be announced on Monday July 22. There will be a teeny tiny bit of walking outside (1 block max!) so dress accordingly. Be on the lookout for an email and/or text message with more details.
DRESS CODE
It’s a fancy dinner, but it’s also summer in Louisiana so anything goes.
GIVING
All proceeds from the dinner will benefit Basin Arts. Basin Arts is a container for creativity that supports and implements cross-disciplinary collaboration, allowing Lafayette’s creative class to come together, share, experiment, and focus on process over product. Basin Arts creates opportunities for artistic expression across generations aimed at enhancing the artistic identity of our community. This includes offering affordable dance classes and art classes, free visual arts programming, and genre-bending special events. Basin Arts is also the home to our professional company-in-residence, Basin Dance Collective and our art rental program, BARE Walls.
